I. Greenwich YWCA, Panel on "How to Get
Published in the 21st Century," (in cooperation with Just
Books, Greenwich)
We can't wait to have these authors back! Lucy Hedrick and her
colleagues M.J. Rose and Anne Rockwell, attracted more than 80 men
and women to their program on Getting Published. They are compelling
speakers, and the book-selling table was busy!

II. Cambridge Public Library (in cooperation with Sundialbooks,
Lexington, MA)
"How to get published in the 21st
Century" drew a large audience of more than 40 writers. Lucy
Hedrick, Lynne Heitman and Anne Rockwell offered valuable
information for traveling the maze to publication. No one left early
and most chose to buy books! We look forward to their return to CPL.

III. Buttonwood Books & Toys, Cohasset, MA
Buttonwood Books and Toys had "standing room
only" for Hedrick and her panelists, and we've already asked,
"Where's Part II?" We sold a LOT of books, and our patrons have told
us their program was one of the best. They're asking when we'll do
another program like it.

VI. Barnard College Club of Fairfield County,
Greater CT and Westchester
Lucy Hedrick and her panelists tremendously
enlightened the Barnard Alumnae Network on the ins and outs of
publishing today. The audience learned how to best put forth their
works of fiction, nonfiction and children's lit to the industry
buyers, as well as how to publish on the Internet. The panelists are
compelling speakers and gave us encouragement as well as their
honesty.

Lucy Hedrick drew a large group of attentive
aspiring writers to a lecture she gave on how to get published at
the Princeton Club of New York. She gave them, succinctly and
clearly, a comprehensive list of tips centering on finding an agent
